The Glitz

Just some of today's arm candy that I'm sporting. I am obsessed (repeat, obsessed) with this new gold, spiked bracelet I just picked up. And I'm even more obsessed (if possible) with this leather and skull-studded belt—worn as a bracelet—that I also recently acquired. These rings are some of my personal favorites as well, and this deep sparkly red nail color is putting me in just the right mood for Chr!stmas. I know that more spikes and skulls will be on my wish-list.

AH! I'm absolutely ecstatic this week, as I was surprisingly offered two different internship positions in the fashion industry here in NYC. I may be young, but I'm determined to get my foot in the door as soon as possible. Go me!

 This is pretty much a classic outfit that I'd wear virtually any day. These leopard print shoes are my new favorite addition to my wardrobe—given the amount of black I wear, they're the perfect pop of pizzazz that every outfit needs. The studs on this blouse, along with my gold accessories add just the right amount of glitz to contrast with these leather pants. 

On an unrelated note, everyone should listen to Macklemore x Ryan Lewis' new album The Heist. It's awesome. You're welcome.

Black/black

Just a few quick snapshots of a look I donned for a day out shopping. Although some fashionistas can't live without color in their wardrobe, I pride myself on having a closet made almost entirely of black and other neutrals. It makes putting together a unique and eye-catching outfit more challenging, which I love. And, of course, black is the epitome of chic.
