The Glitz

Just some of today's arm candy that I'm sporting. I am obsessed (repeat, obsessed) with this new gold, spiked bracelet I just picked up. And I'm even more obsessed (if possible) with this leather and skull-studded belt—worn as a bracelet—that I also recently acquired. These rings are some of my personal favorites as well, and this deep sparkly red nail color is putting me in just the right mood for Chr!stmas. I know that more spikes and skulls will be on my wish-list.

AH! I'm absolutely ecstatic this week, as I was surprisingly offered two different internship positions in the fashion industry here in NYC. I may be young, but I'm determined to get my foot in the door as soon as possible. Go me!

 This is pretty much a classic outfit that I'd wear virtually any day. These leopard print shoes are my new favorite addition to my wardrobe—given the amount of black I wear, they're the perfect pop of pizzazz that every outfit needs. The studs on this blouse, along with my gold accessories add just the right amount of glitz to contrast with these leather pants. 

On an unrelated note, everyone should listen to Macklemore x Ryan Lewis' new album The Heist. It's awesome. You're welcome.

Luxe

A quick shot of some of my arm candy today. With the cold setting in fast in NYC and the holidays approaching (kind of), I thought it was time to bring out my velvet pieces. The ruby red of this top is so pretty in the crushed velvet fabric, and it was complimented so well by my favorite oversized gold watch. A pearl bracelet and gold bangles were the finishing touches on today's luxe ensemble.

Barbie pink

One of my favorite blouses at the moment. Obviously I absolutely adore studs (even if it entails carrying five pounds of them on my shoulders), but combined with the pretty cream color of the blouse, they are much more versatile in my wardrobe. Sporting some of my new favorite lipstick as well from Lisi Cosmetics in New York. I usually avoid pink like the plague, unless it's on my lips. Lisi is so affordable and so chic! Black/black

Just a few quick snapshots of a look I donned for a day out shopping. Although some fashionistas can't live without color in their wardrobe, I pride myself on having a closet made almost entirely of black and other neutrals. It makes putting together a unique and eye-catching outfit more challenging, which I love. And, of course, black is the epitome of chic.

Saint Laurent Spring 2013 RTR

I found myself literally drooling over Saint Laurent's Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear collection. The new take on leather, combined with soft tulle, chiffon and other beautifully flowy fabrics, left my mouth literally on the floor. As a huge fan of all black ensembles, Saint Laurent kept things chic, sleek and edgy all over. The touch of studs and glitz, along with the mysterious floppy hats, had me loving every look.

Out and about thrifting, once again in my favorite JC's... These shorts are one of my favorite pieces — the bow detailing is so chic and unique, and makes it incredibly easy to dress them up or down. The eye-catching graffiti practically was begging for some photos.
